Set in the Canadian wilderness, the film follows 20-year-old Alma (Molly Kunz) who returns to her childhood home after her grandfather passes away. During her time there, she rescues a wolf pup and a lost lion cub. Together, they forge an unbreakable bond. Soon, a forest ranger finds out and takes the animals away from Alma.
